Iheanacho Obianuju graduated from Nnamdi Azikiwe University,Awka where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science. She holds a PGD in Business Administration.

She has over 11 years banking experience from both commercial and microfinance bank. She is a Certified Microfinance Banker by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and an Associate Member Public Administration and Management Development Institute (PAMDI).

She has worked as Head of Operations in the three branches of the bank, worked in Fund Transfers unit, Customer Service and Electronic Business. She was the first Head of Electronic Business department in Abucoop and also worked as the Group Head, Banking Operations, she is currently the Head of Credit Risk Management.
